Built a completely custom WordPress theme from scratch — custom PHP, custom JavaScript, and hand-crafted design — over a 3-month engagement.
The Challenge
Picture Time needed more than a template-based WordPress site. The design vision was unique and required a completely custom theme — no page builders, no pre-built templates. Every pixel needed to be hand-crafted from design mockups to working code, spanning PHP backend logic, JavaScript interactivity, and a bespoke visual identity.

The Solution
I built the entire website from the ground up over 3 months — starting with design mockups, then translating every visual element into custom PHP and JavaScript code. The theme was built 100% from scratch with no off-the-shelf components: custom post types, custom templates, custom JavaScript interactions. Every part of the site was purpose-built for Picture Time's brand and content needs.
